Burgomaster Ismark "The Lesser" Kolyanovich

Ismark Kolyanovich is son of the burgomaster of Barovia, Kolyan Indirovich and the elder brother of Ireena Kolyana.

Ismark isn’t a typically dour Barovian. Other villagers call him “The Lesser” because he has lived in the shadow of his father for most of his life. Until recently that is, when attacks started occurring on the Burgomaster's Mansion in Barovia. During these attacks his father died of stress. Ismark suspects that, for some unknown reason, Strahd von Zarovich is attracted to Ireena Kolyana and desires her above all others.

Recent Events

Ismark encountered The Party shortly after the party arrived in Barovia. The party was entering the Blood of the Vine. Here he asked the newly arrived visitors to help him with some tasks around town he couldn't do. Atleast not without endangering his sister, Ireena. In trade he would give the party a stay at the Burgomaster's Mansion and monitory compensation. The tasks he would give the players were:

1. Help Ismark bury his deceased father in the local graveyard. (Compensation of 30 Counts)
2. Discover who is behind the recent disappearances in the town.
3. Gather more information and if possible get rid of the source of a new disease going around the town.
4. When done with the previous tasks, help Ireena Kolyana to the Church of St. Andral, where he believed she would be safer. (Compensation of 150 Counts, Half when setting off and half when the task was complete)
