People of Interest
Danika and Urwin, owners of the Blue Water Inn. They have two sons, Brom and Bray. Urwin blames himself for a crystal missing from the coffee farm, Danika seems to know something and has disappeared. We found her at her Mother's house, barely alive and found out Sabine is her sister. She seems to suspect her sister had something to do with the missing crystal.
Devain, lives on nearby coffee farm, doesn't get on with blue water inn owners. He is Urwin's father and blames him for a missing crystal.

Strahd von Zarovich, the Count who seems to cause all the troubles in Barovia, Xaethriell's Uncle. Strahd renamed the land Barovia after his late father, Lord Barov.
Ireena and Ishmarck, Children of the village of Barovia's previous burgomaster. He died of a heart attack.
Madam Eva - A fortune teller, she has told us our destiny. Her name was once Katarina Von Zarovich. She lives in a Vistani camp outside of the Village of Barovia. She and Strahd share a father, Lord Barov. She used to work with another, her daughter can speak with the souls of the missing, Eva has forgotten her name. The mother resides in Berez, Baba Lysaga.
Rafina - A Vistani from the encampment who can strengthen armour.
Larissa - Rafina's sister. She can strengthen metal weapons.
Mareek - Vistani tailor
Tormen - Mareek's brother, creates armour.
Dragonir - Specialises, in wooden weapons and books.

A few who were more untrusting flinched and children started crying.
The Morning Lord and Night Mother
The Morning Lord represents the dawn, he met Mother night and created day. One cannot exist without the other. A few of the Night Mother's devouts live in Berez and she is said to be living there inside a mortals body.
Mother night is depicted as a dark skinned Tiefling and always smiling. She takes people souls to a safe place while they sleep and returns them to the Morning Lord when they're ready to wake.

Letter: First night in Barovia
Dear Mother,
My first day in this land you have sent me to was rather interesting, extremely enlightening and all a bit overwhelming if I'm being honest. I have learned a lot, maybe not so much about myself yet but more so the way other people live and interact with each other, it's all fascinating to me and I confess I am enjoying myself.
There is, however, a reason for this letter more than just to update you on my time here. I have found myself with a strange group of people. One of them, Mordecai, is also a cleric but the strange part is that his holy symbol is identical to the symbol on the front of this book. I was hoping you maybe know of the reason or what it could possibly mean. So far our combined knowledge has not given us any clues.
