The Stormwind

The ancestral blade of the family that bears it's name. According to stories, it was a gift from the Stormlord to a great warrior of a barbarian tribe who would become the first of his bloodline. The sword has lost much of it's power over the decades. But in the right hands it may regain it's former glory.

History

An heirloom of the Stormwind family. Said to be Passed down and maintained for generations. The strange dark hued blade needs less maintenance than a normal sword, there are some stories about inate magical powers of this weapon, but that magic has seemingly faded away. Some think it is the fact that the clan joined society and became subordinate to kings, which displeased their free and wild ancestors, draining the blade of it's potency.

Significance

The symbol of the Stormwind family, passed down to the next heir when they are ready to lead.
