After clearing out the bandit fort, the group came across a blood circle used in summoning creatures from the Abyss. The part put up a good fight and was able to destroy all of the creatures before they could escape. At least as far as they know. The Journal Alessa found seems to point to this ritual coming from another source, and an indication of it requiring an excessive amount of silver.
Also found in the fort was a mysterious caustic substance that someone was growing milky green crystals in. Alessa took a sample of the liquid and crystal.
Alessa discovered the caustic substance from the fort, was in fact demon blood.
Upon reaching
Twin River, the group found out that the eye in Alessa's dream is popping up in places associated with demon worship.
The party returned to
Twin River after taking care of the living plant monsters and interrogated one of the cultists, only to find that a daemon presence occupied what was once a man. They learned the name behind the creature. Fekelsius
On further investigation, the party learned of similar happenings in the towns of
Hotlake and
Woodgate.
The voice that whispers in Milo's ear has enticed him into performing a summoning ritual, that has unleashed some sort of demonic version of Alessa's sister upon the world.
After failing to complete his tasks and helping to prevent Wurm from fulling entering the material plane, Milo was removed from the demon's graces. While the Party no longer has any insight from Milo's connection with him, they also don't have to worrry about Milo sub or unconciously doing his bidding any further.
