Session 19 - Talkative Corpse

General Summary

30th of Lenzin 200 Gathering in the bar area of the Inn the next morning, everyone discussed next steps. After a back and forth Harper decided to dump out his eldricth scarf. Wringing it out, an enormous number of clipped sunflowers poured out of the scarf along with a dessicated corpse of a Halfling, clinging to a pair of pristine shears. This drew the attention of Cleric Nicodemus Albrecht who came over and cast 'Speak with dead' to confirm that the party were not responsible for the death. The strange dead Halfling confirmed he was killed by something other than the party. The body ws disposed of but the party kept hold of the shears, identifying them as magical. Alranval, Mara, and Ashton all also took note that their starmetal items seem to be changing in physical form. Harper then took Arlanval and Ashton out to his family home to take a look through their library for anything that might pertain to Arlanval's song, while Mara, Velvet and Chael went to go investigate the local tattoo artist. Velvet grabbed the tiger pelt from the cart to bring as they were going to be near The Unicorn's Sigil, a tailor shop where Velvet's friend Merlyn makes clothing. Harper, Ashton and Arlanval went digging through the books, looking for sheet music that might match the tune in Arlanval's head. Not finding the tune, they did expand their search to the name Rudra, a name that Arlanval accepts as his family name. They were able to find some leads on that name, associating it as a associate of Harper's late father. Though they weren't able to find out much, other than the fact that Sigurd and Rudra seemed to be working together on something for about 2 years that didn't end up coming to fruition, at least not in the time they were collaborating. They also found a reference to a 'shared workspace', though when asked about it, Sonata did not have any information as to it's whereabouts. Sonata also made Harper promise to come to dinner that evening. Mara, Velvet and Chael, now sporting a group tattoo made their way next door to visit with Merlyn, catching up and then promising to come back later.
