Session 14 - Beware the Devil's Ginger Report

General Summary

20th - 23rd of Lenzin 200 As everyone recovered from their inner journeys, Rux seemed to be quite on edge, sensing something large and dangerous in the woods. Chael also confronted Arlanval about something he had discovered about Rux's past, leaving the blonde sorcerer uncomfortable. Getting an uneasy nights sleep the group gathered their things the next morning and made their way back two days to the the Greybeard outpost. Chael went and spoke with Bill and got him to agree to the meeting with the rasps in Woodgate. Chael also took this opportunity to make purchase of some of the magical materials the Greybeards had acquired. They returned back to town well into the evening. Heading to the Inn to rest and prepare for the meeting the next day. The next morning Arlanval went to The Glimmering Scale and traded the manabark he acquired to Fussa in exchange for him to craft the sorceror a magical rod. The next morning the group arrived to spot the ending of the discussions being mediated by Helga Moondane. Seeing the discussions going poorly, Chael stepped in and assisted the talks coming to a peaceful ending, providing a gift to ease things along. Chael was able to get things smoothed out, much to Helga's grattitude, she had to get to Twin River in a hurry, there was a major wedding happening in a few days time! Alerted ot the fact that it was between the Bowens and the Stagdews, the party agreed to accompany Helga back to the city. They accompanied the caravan the day south back to Twin River, arriving on the 23rd in the rain. The group split off from Helga's carriage and went back to secure rooms at the Dusky Faun. Harper and a few others ventured over to the frowning boar, Harper taking up a disguise to go investigate to see if his sister had arrived yet. Chael saw himself to the blacksmith and collected his custom order, a set of splint mail crafted with the radiant bones from the dwarven vault. Mara offered Glory a job delivering a letter to her grandfather. Harper took Arlanval and Velvet with him to the Frowning Boar. Infiltrating the Frowning Boar, Velvet ran interference with the guard while Harper slipped in to talk to his younger sister Tambourine, finding out that Chant was not here yet and had been upset the last time Tambourine had seen her. Harper made his way out and met back up with everyone.
