Thunderpeak

Thunderpeak is a small, rugged town nestled within the Borderlands Forest, situated in the U-shaped Stone Mountain range to the north of Rusthearth. The town's name derives from the powerful, thunderous claps that echo through the mountains whenever a storm strikes, creating a dramatic and resonant sound that can be heard for miles.
Though Thunderpeak is not officially part of Stoneheim, it functions as an extension of it. The town is predominantly inhabited by dwarves and goliaths who originally hail from Stoneheim. Their presence here is driven by two key purposes: to cultivate food for Stoneheim and to facilitate the transportation of ores to Ironhold. The fertile lands of the Borderlands Forest provide essential agricultural resources, while the strategic location allows for efficient movement of materials between the towns.
Thunderpeak’s close-knit community thrives in the harsh, mountainous environment, using their skills and resources to support the larger settlements in Rusthearth. Despite its remote location, the town plays a vital role in the logistical and economic network of the region.
