Bonus Proficiencies When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with heavy armor and smith’s tools.   Ornn’s Blessing At 1st level, one of your hands are blessed to become a tool for forging. You choose one of your hands, and that hand turns coal-like. You can use an action to heat up the coal turning your hand into a fiery weapon or tool. The hand’s temperature can be used to melt most metals and stones in a few minutes or cook food. The hand remains hot until you use a bonus action to return it to its normal state. Unarmed attacks with the hand while it’s coal-like deal 1d4 + Strength bludgeoning damage. Unarmed attacks while the hand is flaming deal 1d4 + Strength fire damage.   Channel Divinity: Ilmarinen’s Hammer Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to conjure the hammer of the forge gods. You conduct an hour-long ritual. As part of this ritual, you must lay out 100gp and a piece of metal. At the end of the ritual, the hammer appears in your blessed hand. You decide the hammer’s appearance but it must be a light hammer. This hammer can be used for both combat and forging. You can double your proficiency on any checks with the hammer. You gain advantage when using the hammer for forging with basic metals (brass, copper, iron, gold, and silver).   Fire of Hephaestus Beginning at 6th level, your body is blessed by Hephaestus to become a vessel of fire.
  • You gain resistance to fire damage.
  • You gain the ability to exhale Hephaestus’s fire in a 10-foot cone in front of you. All creatures within the range must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw of DC 10 + Charisma modifier or take 2d10 + Charisma modifier fire damage. You can use the fire while forging weapons or armour. The item forged using the fire will gain a +1 bonus (either to AC or attack/damage). You can use Hephaestus’s fire multiple times on the same item during forging to add additional bonuses (up to a maximum of +3). You can use this feature a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus between long rests.
  • Any creature hit by Hephaestus’s fire becomes Brittle for 1 minute or until it takes damage. When a brittle creature takes damage, it takes an additional 1d6 fire damage
  •   Divine Strike At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with the fiery power of the forge. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 fire damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.   Divine Blacksmith At 17th level, your blessed affinity with fire and metal becomes more powerful:
  • You gain immunity to fire damage.
  • You have advantage on any checks against metals.
