Still recovering from the events of the First and Second wars between the Alliance of Lordaeron and the Orcish Horde, new threats begin to emerge, threatening the peace of Azeroth. The Alliance of Lordaeron, once strong and unified, is beginning to splinter, and most of the remnants of the Orcish Horde have scattered throughout the lands of Eastern Kingdoms whilst some followed Thrall across the Great Sea to settle in Kalimdor.   Medivh's spirit had recently been resurrected and seeks to unify the forces of Azeroth against the Burning Legion who are planning an invasion to conquer the world.
