Axis Mundi

In nothingness, a ship moves.   ~~~ O ~~~   In the void there is a tree. For someone from Earth, it resembles a Boabab enveloped by a Strangler Fig with thorns from its topmost branches all the way to its roots.   Each branch contains a fruit and each fruit contains an untold amount of worlds. It has more branches than there are stars in the sky and grains of sand in the desert.   This tree is called the Axis Mundi and it is home to many dangerous, fantastical, wondrous things. Tender moments and grand events of triumph and despair are commonplace.   Here you will find empires who rule all of time, soulless corporations who toy with the stories of entire universes, giants who forge concepts and dragons made of stories.   There are an infinite number of stories to tell and an infinite number of ways to tell them.
