In the year 2XX6, the world has changed, and yet life is strangely familiar. Those with wealth and privilege accumulate more, rising away from the concerns of the world. Those without are trapped in squalor, to be exploited with no hope of recourse.   Inside the glittering cities of the chosen and the pure, work is unceasing and perpetually watched over by messengers of authority, who accept no defiance. On the other side of the walls, in the derelict cityscapes inhabited by the rest, the fallen and disgraced rule over the rabble who were found unfit.   But the fallen's numbers grow by the day, and the stories spoken of them inside those glittering cities are rarely true...
