The Shrewgami Swamps are a unforgiving marshland where goblins, grungs, locathah and lizardfolk are the most commonly found races here but hobgoblins, yuan-ti and perhaps firbolg could thrive here. Surrounded by plentiful predators, animals and plants alike, you grew up surrounded by constant threats. Very little exposure to society other than the lizardfolk, grungs, goblins and locathah is found here so lack of knowledge on customs associated with the rest of the world would be a common trait among inhabitants of the Shrewgami Swamps.
