Meknir's Crew

Among the wild, adventurous crew, sailing throughout the Grimville Islands in which you are situated on, you are under the leadership of the crazed, unbridled Captain Meknir. Captain Meknir is a gnomish humanoid, who craves the life of adventure on the seas and despite his appearance he rivals the ambition and tenacity of anyone who dares compete with him. Although he can be irrational at times he does consider negotiations with sailors and merchants, which can't be said for any of the other pirate warlords. His ambitions stray from the typical plundering behaviour of a pirate and more leads onto the life of adventure and exploration, always taking an interest in artefacts and the learning of history and culture rich areas. Several of his outposts are situated amongst the Grimville Islands however, Meknir rarely spends his time here and it's mainly an area for his crew to situate around. His crew also have a historic interest in the world and follow him primarily for this reason, however Meknir's power and influence over this region has drawn in pirates from across the Trágéan Ocean. His crew spend a lot of their time on the islands belonging to Meknir and rarely see him themselves, as Meknir takes little interest in his own crew leading to separate power factions forming among his crew in the Grimville Islands. As long as Meknir can follow his interest he cares little for the livelihood of his crew unless they benefit him, in which they would regularly travel with him on his ship "The Sanguine Secret", so cultural and religious beliefs sway from morally good to bad without much emphasis placed on it.
