Oberon

This lordship is in some of the most severe weather conditions in all of Zena. The area of the lordship encompasses most of the Jagged Peaks and the Silver Highlands.
Silverpeak is the city with the giant’s that are far more friendly to working as a part of the kingdom and treat the “lesser humanoids” well. The giants in Silverpeak voted to join the Zenan Kingdom. This city has become interconnected to the kingdom with the rails, which has led to some of the giant kin leaving the city and exploring the rest of the continent. The giants don’t tend to wander too far, especially being a race that susceptible to twisting into the wicked. The giant’s central government is located here and they make the important decisions for their people and lay down the law where it needs to be used. They aren’t too keen on taking orders from the kingdom but they have been compiling.
The city itself was built for giants but there are obvious places where normal size people can dwell and that is because giants have lived alongside the strix for centuries. The strix and giants have lived in a symbiotic relationship, allowing them to both increase in strength. The strix were once a people who lived in the jungle side but the Drell hunted them to near extinction and they sought refuge with the giants. Giants act as leaders and masters of crafts, while the strix do the leg work for the beginning steps. So if a giant master is going to craft a unique armor set the strix would be tasked to gather some of the components. The strix essentially act as task doers for the giants and some strix have been given to the kingdom to help bolster their military might and to work toward good relations. The city is called Silverpeak because depending on the time of the year, the sun will hit the buildings just right and make the whole place shimmer like silver. The shimmer comes from unique slabs of granite that have been carved out or constructed in the city. One of the buildings that shimmers the most is the school of magic, Birora. This school mainly enrolls giants seeking to become more powerful but also teaches Strix and other species they deem worthy. The city has lots of defenses because when it is attacked either by wicked or by beasts it is some of the worst creatures that walk this planet assaulting the city. The city also subsists on stranger food sources, like underground root farms, and goat herds instead of traditional foods.
(Players from here would primarily be strix but if someone wants to play a half giant I could be game. The disposition of the population here is skeptical of the kingdom but is willing to work for them for now.)

Rusthorn is a more recent addition to the giant’s civilization. It is a much smaller city and is in a more dangerous location. They share the same dangers as Silverpeak but they have the additional threat of drell encroachments. They built this city originally as a watch post against the rising threat in the jungle, but it has since been expanded several times having its own civilian population and developing into more than just a military outpost. It is called Rusthorn because the original construction in the city was a metal building that was falling into disrepair and now is just a landmark of the area and the city was named after it.
