Novar

Silvercoast is the city that is closer to Zeda and is in much more habitable conditions. The city is known for risky under the ocean mines but recovers lots of silver from the dangerous efforts. The city is built on the coast but doesn’t have a massive port like some of the other cities, but it does in fact have a port but it is not central to the operations. This city started out as a collection of miners and it has only grown out from there. The way the miners discovered the silver has been lost to time. This area has also been in a unique position housing people from Ciridis. Due to the nature of being a coastal mining city it faces three different avenues of threats, beasts from land, beasts from the sea, and ancient beasts from the ground. These have all been safeguarded in their own ways. Many of these houses also use a system of geothermal vents that have helped support the growing population and ward off the fridge weather. Another notable piece of the city is that every building is built of purely stone that has been recovered from some of the mines. The food situation here has long been a tough objective, if it was smaller they could use hunting and fishing but being so north fishing is unreliable for a larger population.

(Players from here would like the new wealth that the kingdom has brought them but they hate how more people are trying to get a cut of land here. They aren’t the most friendly about teaching people but they are hardworking people. Players would also likely fear the ocean for tales of evil pirates and terrible seas creatures are popular here. Just about any race can come from here but magic users are not their favorite because they think it attracts monsters.)   Whitepost is the smallest real city in Zena and that is because this is a new city that was established under the kingdom. It also is the northernmost city in Zena. This city was established to have a stronghold to be able to explore various ruins in Novar as well as monitor the sea for any secret movements from Izan or Drocor. The entire city is with a large stronghold setup, with a few civilians who wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the massive cities. Whitepost sees many wanders thanks to its proximity to Buke and Farfell. Some are concerned that Whitepost is a safe haven for criminals because it is out of Farfells jurisdiction and doesn’t have a very operational legal system.

(Players coming from here would likely be from either archeologists, soldiers, or mountain men. If you were raised here you have more insight into these ruins and what ancient things lie in the frozen tundra. Views of the government vary here.)
