Spiderken
"The most direct route into the Overcropolis is through the former spider temples. The Old God, Lolth was known as the spider queen and so her Drow children would breed deadly and poisonous spiders of all kinds. When the masters fell to the Momento, the spiders remained and infested the entire area. Purpose / Function
The Spiderken was a temple in the worship of Lolth. Within they prayed to her, sacrificed valuables and souls, and spawned the most deadly spiders in all of Aventyr.
Architecture
The temple is a large dome, itself somewhat spider shaped. Atop the building, wreathed in purple light, is a large obsidian statue of a woman's upperhalf and the lower portion that of a spider. Within the spiders have grown to take over this place. Tapestries, statues, and effects are covered in thick layers of spider silk. If one knows which statue to search for, there is a hidden room which contains a mural of the Cropolis which can teleport you to various locations by touching the appropriate area on the map.
