A species of small mammal like a real world porcupine but that resembles more of a rabbit. It comes in different colors all vibrant, their fur is actually thousands of sharp needles that are covered in a thin layer of venom, deadly to the touch. When the Laprik feels safe it retracts the brightly colored venom and it's fur becomes blindingly white and soft to the touch. In folklore it is viewed as a creature sent on earth by the moon Atlas to punish greedy hunters by fooling them into thinking they are just a helpless pray animal. It is said that only those as dangerous and tricky as the Laprik may touch it without death.
