Tiger Monkey

Basic Information
Anatomy
The tiger monkey is bipedal in appearance, possessing the body of a monkey and the fur of a tiger. It has orange skin with large, cream-colored patches on its stomach and legs, as well as a long, thin tail. There is a line of light skin running from eye to eye and black stripes streak across its scalp between large round ears that jut out of its head. It also possesses long claws on its hands and feet and large fangs that protrude from its mouth. When sitting, the tiger monkey crouches on its hind legs and extends its front-most arms, with its tail resting upright.
Growth Rate & Stages
The tiger monkey gives birth to one child at the time, on rare occasion two, in a manner common to all mammals. The cubs can not eat solid food for the first year or so, and reach maturity in five to six years. At this age they separate and look for a pack of their own to form.
Ecology and Habitats
The Tiger Monkey is a race species to be sighted, to the point some believe it extinct. However there are claims that some still exist in unvisited islands and isles around the globe.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Tiger Monkeys are omnivorous animals, with a diet consisting mostly of fruit from trees and small prey they hunt. Usually they hunt ground animals, allowing them to pounce on them from the trees, they hunt either alone or in small packs.
