3.09 - Big Elephant Slams Boys

General Summary

The Bad Ideas continue their fight against the Order, with only Skytipper, the Dark Pundit remaining. Eldrick tried out his new power, purchased with a promise of allegiance to The Orange God. The floor beneath Skytipper pooled with water. Breaking through the surface beneath her feet was an enormous shark named Nado, mouth open and sharp teeth pointed around her legs. With a SNAP the shark bit into the woman's legs, tearing and rendering flesh and bone. In an instant Nado was gone but the damage to its victim painfully remained. A few spells and actions later and the proud advocate for The Order fell unconscious with the rest.
Liam tied up the group while Tol, pulled one aside, attempted to gather information. 'How are you? What was that all about? Why are you here?' he asked politely as he poured strong drinks into the young man, Albert. Liam too was cordial in his questions but laid on a Zone of Truth just in case. Albert offered what he knew. That the neocons were his 'family'. That he believed that non-humans were here to take their jobs, and steal their land, land that was theirs by some unexplained right. It was clear he was just as much as foreigner to Talus as any other citizen, given Talus' inability to support birth. This truth didn't much fit within the young man's world view, so it was ignored apparently. He said that others were going to come for him. Liam tied him up with his 'family' and the Bad Ideas went into plotting mode on how best to storm the next room over where Harold Aces 3rd (Trip) was holed up.
Eventually they opted to explore the tunnels under the floor. These looked to be escape tunnels but were strangely lead lined, possibly to prevent scrying. A tunnel lead to the East and North, with two exits north, one that was locked. Fae opened the unlocked door to the north and found herself shrunk down to half an inch, standing on a well manicured lawn with trees and bushes around her. A small patch of green with very short grass was before her with a strange banner flag planted in its center. Fae left and returned to normal size.
The Team decided to try a short rest, which was undisturbed. Deciding not to push their luck for a long rest, they instead moved Elly the elephant out to the hallway, with Tol and AALan. The rest of the team waited in the tunnels. AALan boosted his voice magically and called out 'Harold Aces, we are coming for you!' and sent the elephant crashing through the doorway.
And that is where we left our story.
