General Summary
Every adventure begins in a bar.
Its like every Elder Scrolls game begins with your character locked up. We begin at a bar. The Troubadour, currently owned by a mysterious man named Dokshay (Brian) and run by a group of mouseguard. The group gathers here based on a vision and a key. Liam and Dalandar are first to enter the establishment. Liam is a halfling Paladin Gladiator with bravado. Dalandar is a tiefling fighter with a criminal past. They are joined by ZizKek the pyromanic Sorcerer goblin and Tol’itheran a quiet elf wizard. Hiding in the shadows is Faezyre the Tiefling rogue. Thier first adventure as a newly joined party of coincidence is to kill rats in the basement. A bounty of 50 gold per rat is offered to the group by Dokshay and he joins to observe their progress. Andrew warns of a vicious beast in the basement left to scare away rats, though this turns out to be Captasin Bumwaggers III a wonderfully loving puppy. The true danger is to come. Dalandar opens a door to investigate. An explosion follows as he trips a trap. Four men appear in the room, each dressed and painted in four different colors, green, red, blue, yellow. These four begin a song and attack the group with crossbows and sick moves. Ziz gets a firebolt into a one of them but is then stunned by a harmonic sound from another. Liam slices through two of them with his sword but falls to bolts as well. Fae and Shay hide, each doing damage to one of them, fae with her dagger and shay with his whispers. Tol releases missile after missile at the men, dropping one as well. In the end the four teeange normal human assassians were defeated, but at a heavy cost. Liam and Ziz were on the brink of death, saved by a quick call back to Emily Mouseington for healing. A potion was spent on Dal and Lay on Hands from Liam. In the End, the new crew learned just how dangerous ‘rats’ can be. But the mystery remains. Why are they here? Are they alone in this basement? How did they get in? And how does this connect to the 6 keys that the group have in their possession, keys that say ‘It will be discovered in the Troubadour in Ptolus on the 3rd of September’ For answers to these questions, we will have to wait until next week
