Orcus

Orcus, or commonly known as the Prince of Undeath, is one of the most powerful demons in The Unhallowed. Orcus is described as a foul and corpulent bipedal being, with goat legs, large bat-like wings, and the head of a ram by those that claim to bear witness to his unwieldy presence. His followers claim that he is one of the most powerful spellcasters in all the planes of existence, wielding a truly powerful magical weapon, that brought fear to those that laid their eyes upon it if for just a moment.
Orcus graces mortals with his presence almost regularly, using them as tools for his devious deeds. He enjoys taking advantage of the weak minds of mortals to further his own agenda, that being to destroy the Avartian Holy Pantheon and take the material plane for himself. Power is his only objective, and he will not falter in his endeavors until stopped.

Tenets of Faith

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2. When in another's lair, show them respect or else do not go there.
3. If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat them cruelly and without mercy.
4. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask them to stop. If he precedes, destroy them.
5. Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained.

Priesthood

Gaining priesthood under Orcus is often seen as an impossibility. However, it has been done before.
Orcus will only allow one to reach priesthood if they have shown unwavering devotion to his cause, as well as an aptitude for immense and fearless magical prowess. He requires that his priests have tremendous knowledge on the undead and the art of undeath, with no hesitation of utilizing said knowledge.
