Avani

The world of Avani, once known as Azuria, was created by the Elemental Draconic gods, and spans four eras. It is a world of magic, politics and deadly gameplay as the powers of the world wax and wane throughout the years.

In the beginning, the Eldritch Titan gods ruled over the universe and control the hearts of the people, while allowing the youngling Draconic gods to explore their powers and grow as deities. It is a world of technological advancement, and deeply intrinsic politics to ascertain who will remain in the centuries to come. The powers of the the Heart are drawn to dark purpose and their inevitable demise is all but foretold, as a secretive game is played in the shadows for the fate of the world.

In the Second Era, the world has survived a great tear in the fabric of Fate itself, and their technological advancement is halted and lost to a society that is seeking survival against the terrors of the shadows. Many lives are lost, families torn asunder and there is failing hope in the once-foretold coming of heroes. The world is to be forever changed as the machinations of generations comes to a forefront, as the people of the world consider their end.

In the Third Era, the Ascended Gods have taken the forefront of the people's hearts and minds after the devastating cataclysm that almost ended the world. In the wake of a new future, the world has risen and been shaped by money, greed, politics ad war, while those who seek to remember the old ways struggle to reconcile with the lost past of the world. The Daemonic powers fell to the united might of the mortal races and a peace treaty was brokered, in which the daemons were forced to be paired to every mortal being at birth, and serve them. There was, however, a catch.

In the lands outside Lorriador, the Wild Lands are home to a variety of separationists, who continue to adhere to their traditions, and their own destinies, and they have begun to notice a rise in mysterious fluctuations in the magickal threads weaving the worlds together. There followed a release of ancient and horrifying monsters that slowly started to pull the Planes towards each other. The Titan King's plan to rise once more was foiled, but it's mark changed the world irrevocably.

In the wake of the Merge, a new super power rose to guide the people towards rebuilding their fractured lives. But as with all things, as time passes, the magick is starting to weaken. The gods have all but vanished, and the power held by the Witch Queens is corrupting them towards tyranny. It is time for new heroes to rise and take up the battle once more.
