What you hold in your hands is what is sometimes called a primer,
and in this case specifically, a setting primer intended for use with role-playing games.

some of the inspirations and intentions I had in mind
while revealing the world of Avaloros.

These pillars hold aloft the roof of the world:

• Corrupting trials. Encounters and trials are a part of life, how you react will affect who you become in time.
• Magic is mundane. The natural forces of the world are controlled by magic.
Living on the back of a nurturing dragon
that projects its own Material Plane can be quite pleasant.
The Elder Elementals dutifully steward
the lands, waters, skies, and sun.
Unfortunately, many powerful entities
throughout the Planes seek to disrupt
those who would live in harmony.
