The Journey to Godhood: Chapter 1 - Banbeck

Marching to the east In search of the wild horses. Glad we packed carrots!   Along our journey, Banbeck and Jamison fight. What funny jesters!   Water running low. "We must head towards Deathwell!" The party exclaims.   Feet are growing tired. A fallwood tree is spotted. Start to set up camp.   A loud screech is heard. Bloodhawks begin to attack! Now the fight begins.   One attacks the group Captain Oryx is injured. All I see is red.   Manage to escape The captain is still alive. We can all rest now.   A new dawn begins I look towards the sunrise. I shall be there soon.   A goblin is seen. He is riding a large wolf. Probably a scout.   Across the valley, a group of goblins takes charge. Ready the defenses!   As the goblins run, The earth begins to crumble. A cave is revealed.   This is no mere cave. A dining hall is in here! Carefully descend...   Exploring the house How strange it is under here This underground house.   A stone sentinel Silently guards this strange place "Please don't go near it..."   The captain and I Find a room with strange structures Engraved on the wall.   A loud noise is heard. We run to investigate. The statue wakens.   The battle is rough. Many of us start to fall. Jamison saves us.   A locked room is here It is opened soon enough. Behold, a stone chest.   Checking for a trap. Oryx spots a hidden glyph "Proceed with caution."   Banbeck comes to us Has an idea that's most foul. Pulls out bloodhawk egg...   Rolls egg into room. The glyph is activated Suddenly explode!   Artio comes quick. Jamison is also here. We are soon revived.   Two more glyphs are seen. We decided to draw straws. Banbeck is chosen.   We all wait for him. It is silent for a while A loud boom is heard.   There the wizard stands Trapped in a frozen prison. Banbeck has fallen...   At the wizard's feet. His straw, it begins to grow. Sacrificed himself   We open the chest. In it is a magic scroll. We take it, sadly.   Towards the surface We head, leaving Banbeck there. A fallen hero.   Heading back to town, We spot wild horse hoof prints. We begin to move.   The horse is captured. It's a seldom victory. The journey goes on.   We have made it home. All of us want to rest now. The horse is dropped off.   My dear friend Banbeck. You shall live on in our hearts. Goodbye magic man.
