Auzentech

Auzentech is a world in which magic and script are inseparable, reality itself functioning in ways similar to computer's code. From divine favors to the smallest of arcane trivialities, everything follows a logical order, no matter how innate it may be to an individual.   The world is primarily rather oppressive and threatening, with strong influences from cyberpunk and noir stories. There are strong themes dealing with the concept of reality in different forms (such as the different planes/servers the players can explore, as well as the way magic bends reality itself).   Auzentech is full of sprawling cities of dark steel and glass with sectors lit only with the bright shimmering neon lights and the empty promises of riches and fame for the clever, menacing ruins of iron and stone full of treasures and tribulations, and grand expanses of forests and farmlands full of small solarpunk communities eking out an existence in spite of the monstrous and human threats to their way of life.   It's important to note that the characters in this setting are still considered people, not avatars of beings outside of the setting. Metagaming is just as frowned upon here as anywhere else.
