Zodon, God of Fire

Zodon, the personification of fire itself, considered a Shamalan god as the Shamal and him have had many encounters throughout history. Zodon is creator of all things related to fire and heat, volcanos are said to be Zodon’s personal fail safe on Aurora as Shamal believe that Zodon himself would make these volcanos erupt if there were danger nearby that needs extermination. What led to this belief was when the Naiads launched an invasion on a Shamal fortress in the dead lands, the fortress held control over the remaining Shamal cities at the time. Before the Naiad could even reach the fortress, the volcano nearby erupted and wiped out the entire Naiad invading army, saving the Shamal. The Shamal praised Zodon for the rest of the day and celebrated while the Naiad forces gave up their invasion as they had lost too many already. Another encounter with Zodon was when his artifact, the Ember Shard, was found by exploring Shamal deep within the great volcano in the middle of the dead lands. It was a fiery talisman that can be worn around the neck of the wearer, the Shamal had taken the talisman with them, putting it in a small box as it would burn any who touched it. Once bringing it back to their homeland, a strong warrior was chosen to put it on, after a bit of struggling to put it on due to the sheer heat of it, the warrior was able to put it around his neck. It had stopped burning and the warrior felt fire within him, fire of power he had described, and few seconds later the warrior then transformed into a fiery dragon-like being. It took time to get it under control but eventually the warrior had reverted back to his normal self, talisman still worn. It was said that when Zodon was making the talisman, he had asked both Nektarr and Vann for help, seeing that their Drakin and Dracons were powerful creatures. With their permission he had made it an ultimate artifact, now one of the thirteen artifacts.
