Sol-Ahreus, God of the Sun

Sol-Ahreus is the Sun God of Aurora, the son of Mutnja, who created both Sol and the sun along with Nocturne’s creation of Lunari and the moon. Sol-Ahreus is known to be quite cocky and full of himself compared to his cousin, Lunari, who is the opposite of what Sol is. He represents the positive aspects of the sun, such as hope, renewal, power, libido, life force, brightness, beginning and overall splendor. But also it’s negatives such as despair, ending overpower, blindness and burning. He travels across the sky each day to drive back the intrusions of the dark things in the Veil beyond the Heavens. Each day, Sol-Ahreus and Lunari take turns watching sides of Aurora as they guard it and unlike Lunari, his power doesn’t fade over time. His dormant godly powers, when fully unleashed, allows him to grow wings and create giant arms of light. The odd looking shoulder pad on his left shoulder can be worn as a mask to unleash his more divine sun powers. Sol-Ahreus, like Itzotl, takes measures into his own hands and often goes beyond the extreme in order to complete his mission. He had delve into the more demonic aspects to use their weapons against them as he used materials from the Underworld to create his iconic weapon, the Sun Eater. A demonic sickle, containing a small black hole, consumes part of his sun to use its demonic abilities. When used too much without maintaining the demonic powers, his sun will lead into being a black hole sun, leading Lunari to assist and help restore Sol-Ahreus’ power to normal, leading into a Solar Eclipse. During this time, many evils come out as Lunari and Sol-Ahreus aren’t supposed to be in the same spot at once. To control the demonic abilities of his weapon, a red mask which he wears on his hip can be used to give him temporary access to the sickle’s evil powers without harming his sun. No one can hide from the Sun God’s light, as he obeys his mother’s wills and quest to destroy all evil.
