Sapphire, Goddess of Luck & Fortune

The Sapphire Cat or simply known as Sapphire, is a Seidin Goddess who was credited for the creation of the Seidins as they all worship her. Sapphire is the embodiment and personification of luck and fortune, both the good and the bad kind. After the creation of the Seidins, Sapphire had sprinkled down her luck towards them which grants them of being fortuned enough to escape most scenarios alive, many close calls happening to many Seidins before eventually dying by their ninth time facing death which grants the saying of Seidins having nine lives. Because of this, she is mostly on bad terms with Lodur who scolds Sapphire for gifting her people such an ability, believing it defiles his rules of life and death. Sapphire is depicted as a grayish cat with sapphire glowing eyes and markings all along her body. Seidins believe the glowing and mystical sapphire coloring on her is the essence which brings life to her luck and fortune, as they had made the color a mainstay within their culture and seen as a sign of good luck from the Goddess. Though being a Seidin goddess, Sapphire’s worship and prayers expanded upon all across Aurora as many made prayers while conducting their daily activities. From farmers, miners, thieves, and soldiers, all mortals call upon the Goddess to distribute her luck to them for fortune of many kinds. It is said that Sapphire often travels around Aurora and watches over mortals, those who spot her see her as a sign of good fortune within their future.
