Mahk, God of the Underworld
The King of Hell, the Undying Usurper, and corruption personified, Mahk was once the God of War when first created by The One. His lust for power drove him into corruption as he began searching the Underworld for more, leading him to Dagon, who ruled the Underworld at the time. Mahk wanted to rule the Underworld himself as he began to invade it and commence war onto Dagon, telling Dagon to step down from the throne so that he could rule. To which Dagon declined before Mahk challenged him, if he could defeat his 7 monstrous children in battle all at once then he would stop his invasion on the Underworld and leave him alone forever. Dagon was amused as knew it was impossible to defeat his children all at once, so he had agreed and then his children descended upon Mahk in a bloody battle. The gruesome battle crashed through many parts of the Underworld as it had lasted for what seemed like an hour, eventually Mahk would defeat the kin of Dagon in battle and choose to spare them, making it a warning to Dagon. Dagon could not believe his eyes as he watched his children fall one by one before Mahk was the last standing, Dagon reluctantly gave up the throne as he and his children left the Underworld together. Mahk laughed and boasted as he sat in his new throne, relinquishing his title as the God of War as now he had become the King of Hell, the God of the Underworld. Eventually Mahk would make an army of demons as he had corrupted those who did not join willingly. Deep down behind all the corruption there is a good heart within Mahk, for he had not always been this way, being manipulated and influenced by the Darkness and Valac to do such evils and corrupt him. Mahk has an intense and bitter rivalry with Xithri as Xithri tends to trick and mess with Mahk the most than any other god, Xithri wants to make Mahk go insane like him just to show they’re not so different. Xithri likes to believe that Mahk completes him, continuing his endless crusade to turn Mahk into a mad man, but he has yet to succeed.
