Lodur, God of Life & Death

The creator of the Cycle of Life, Lodur, was the one who had made sure that mortal’s lives will be balanced and fair. Lodur knew that immortality was not a fun way of so called “living”. So many mortals on one planet would become overpopulated if not for Lodur and the cycle he had created, the creation of souls and giving them to mortals and making sure their soul will live on from one body to the next, to experience life for the first time over and over again. Lodur is also known as the self conscious god or even the lonely god as he typically stays in isolation from the other gods to not cause any sort of harm. The One had given Lodur the ability to kill or give life with a touch from his skin, The One saw this as a true gift of power, but Lodur saw this as a curse of torment. Lodur is able to kill and give life to many things with a single touch, depending on which side he touches with. One half of Lodur’s body is a beautiful and charming man the world has ever seen, the other half is a rotting and skeletal being of horrifying appearance. Touching with his dark half, he brings death, and touching with his normal half he brings life. Lodur had once accidentally killed Iris before as the two accidentally bumped into one another during the battle of The One, he felt guilty as he stood there trying to bring her back but couldn’t. If not for Phadmjir reversing time and changing circumstances, Iris would still be dead, as gods cannot come back from death. Lodur ever since has kept his distance from many other gods, often lonely and by himself at all times. Lodur’s cycle, though perfect, has been defiled by the creation of necromancer and other creations of the demonic gods, to safeguard his cycle he made a powerful artifact in the form of a scythe to gift to a mortal on Aurora and make them his guard and champion of the cycle, the Reaper.
