Iris, Goddess of Nature & Love

Mother Nature or even the Fair Lady, Iris is the embodiment and personification of nature, love, beauty, fertility and desire. She, among others, helped create Aurora and mortals with The One before learning of his true intentions. Iris had a key role in the creation of Aurora and it’s denizens, even though mortals praise her for being the creator of most of the world, she doesn’t like taking credit as she couldn’t have done it without her fellow brothers and sisters. Iris’ beauty is often hypnotizing to most mortals, being seen as the most stunning creature in all of Aurora. She is one of the truly pure gods, her intentions are wholesome and her influences are positive on the mortals of Aurora. She shows mortals how to discover true meaning into their lives through the enlightenment of elegance and devotion. Iris advises that mortals should donate their wills to affection and directs them to release their hearts and minds to the noble secrets of nature and love. “Treasure the gifts of friendship. Seek joy and inspiration in the mysteries of love” Iris once said. She holds no restriction on the amount of lovers an individual may hold, but advises close attention and care on the matter of the quality of the love itself, rather than the quantity. She is understood in being the goddess who pays men in moans, there are critics of Iris who have shamed the goddess for being that of the goddess of whores and lepers. However most people recognize her as a sensual and romantic goddess, her followers are disputed to have what can be an intimate relationship with their goddess. She holds many types of worshippers all across Aurora, some groups center their attention to the celebration of women. Some focus more on beauty, aesthetics and nature. While others solely focus on much more sexual practices. Out of all the mortals, Iris is worshipped the most by the Dryad as they have centered their culture and beliefs all around her.
