Dagon, God of Sins
The Father of Sins, Dagon is a Demonic God who had carried so much conflict within him that he lashed out towards mortals by cursing them with the creation of his seven monstrous children. Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath and Sloth, these are both his children and the curses he had brought down upon Aurora. It is hard to imagine a world without Dagon’s influence, as due to his children and their affect, it has shaped Aurora to what it is now. Within Dagon’s realm he lives with his children who each have their own separate parts within the realm, each different and unique to their personalities. In the middle lies Dagon’s section, a mixture of his kin’s sections combined into one. Dagon himself does suffer the affects of his children as well, but he learns to conquer them and not be affected. All around his body are the names of his children carved into his skin deeply, showing his attachment to them and control over them. He is commonly known to be clever and insidious but Dagon does not carry out his actions to sate some sick satisfaction, his motives aren’t entirely clear to himself. He knows he was created for a very specific purpose, and this purpose has manifested in unpredictable ways that he knows The One did to him. The One had created Dagon to counter the imbalance among mortals, knowing he’d lash out and create his sinful children. He had realized he was a used tool only centuries later as he one day sat and pondered on his past, there is no turning back for him as he accepts who he has become.
