Official Seat of House Serion
The magnificent palace and seat of House Serion is one of the biggest fortresses in all of Aurodia.
Purpose / Function
Once "only" a gigantic fortress of the Meronian Empire that served as last line of protection against the creatures of the forest, the building was repurposed for House Serion as base of operation right after their founding (so even before the Kingdom of the Southlands was established).
Alterations
When the fortress was rebuild to an actual castle many of its protections and military quarters were replaced by state offices and a grand hall in which preparations for the further development of the newfound nation have been made.
A few decades later when the Kingdom struck a gold vein and the country flourished the castle was once again rebuilt to a grand palace that showed the prestige and might of House Serion.
