Attunementverse

A series of cataclysmic events and wars accounts for the relative wildness of the world, with the different regions slowly healing, reclaiming the roads between the towns, and re-establish connections to the other regions.   And to this backdrop, after four hundred years of silence of which no one knows the cause, the legends return to demand their due. And the due they demand are the young adults and children who travelled their domains in search of answers, glory, and freedom, and who reached the centre of the maelstrom that is their reawakening.   They did not expect the humans to take the drink of abandonment for the taste of freedom, and the humans drained the cup and demanded more. The legends returning to take their freedom is a threat they will not willingly suffer.     (A Pokemon AU that originally followed my various Nuzlocke runs which ran in the same universe for shiggles, and then grew into something bigger.   Heavily inspired by Pokespe and Apocalypse Jotho/Battlefield Kanto primarily (although interesting elements are nabbed from other places as well, for example the first and third movies), it's a take on a slightly more realistic Pokemon world with the twists that the legends are actual (shintoesque) gods (or more accurately, kami).)
