Mechadroid

Mechadroids are a common type of Android . Their bodies and inner workings are made of metal and their personality comes from pure programming.

Basic Information

Anatomy

There are many different makes of Mechadroid, but they are usually similar to humans. Many models do not have legs but instead have wheels, treads or Hovercores.

Additional Information

Facial characteristics

They either have human-like faces or computer-like screens with approximations of human facial features, depending or the model.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Their optical sensor can usually see in ultraviolet and/or infrared and their auditory sensors are 40-70 times better than un-enhanced human hearing.

Civilization and Culture

Gender Ideals

Mechadroids typically are not programmed to think in gender terms, though a lot of them do present in masculine or feminine ways and most have a preferred set of pronouns.

Historical Figures

Ernest-1: the first Mechadroid- and first Android- ever built centuries ago as a butler to pioneering Engineer Ainsley Whitecastle. He deactivated himself peacefully at the death of his beloved master.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Mechadroids typically think decently of humans, after all they are their creators. However, they can also be highly critical of them.
They get along well with other Androids, especially Revenants, as the two types’ thinking processes are both fully mechanical with no interference of organic chemicals, and therefore think in similar terms. They also share many experiences with Biodroids as well.
Their most amicable relationship however, is with AIs, as both have no organic components and for the most part are the least human looking of mechanical intelligences, and so can find many commonalities.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
They are typically made of unpainted steel or bronze.
