Junea

Junea of Alcastora is the Commonfolk Goddess of Justice and Valor. She is associated with warriors, combat, strength, and the Republic. Canonized within the Commonfolk Mythos in 3274 W.S., Junea is the youngest deity of the Commonfolk pantheon but is regarded as the central power of the Commonfolk deities. 
Junea was a human woman born in the valley of the first human tribes located in present day Alcastora. The daughter of a laborer and merchant, Junea had a quiet upbringing until the war destroyed her village and separated her from her family. She would go on to fight for the rebellion and over a decade she became a skilled warrior and a key figure among the rebels, leading them through many victorious battles that would inspire and empower the many tribes to unify under the banner of the Commonfolk.
At the battle of Alcastora in 3240, the Imperial forces sought to eliminate Junea as one of the last standing leaders of the Commonfolk. Before the Imperial advance, Junea sent away the conclave of champions to preserve the rebellion, and remained at the rebel fortress along with her few most loyal companions. They held off the Imperial forces to protect their retreating allies and perished, their deaths signaling the end of the war for the Empire. 
In the quiet years after her death, Junea became the subject of many legends and songs crafted by Jovia the Bard, Junea's first companion, inspired hope among the Commonfolk and became a martyr. She was deified following the destruction of Dominia when she appeared in the sky above the ruins of the rebel fortress where she had died and where the Republic champions were presently holding off the Imperials who pursued them from the ruined capitol. Her divine apparition granted strength to the champions and forced the Empire to retreat. 
Junea continues to be a revered figure in the Republic, with worship of her being prevalent among the Republic Forces and the Conclave of Champions, as well as many warriors and adventurers who seek her favors of valor and strength.

Personal history

Junea was born in the valley of the first human tribes, a coastal region of present day Alcastora, the capital province of the Republic. Though born in the early years of the Commonfolk Rebellion, she grew up in a rural fishing village, the eldest daughter of a family of laborers, and had no knowledge of the circumstances of the war until it found it's way to Alcastora. On the 2nd Primavera of 3229 W.S., the Europalitae, agents of Surein Jovenia, entered the valley of the human tribes seeking out rebel leaders, and left little behind of those who drew their ire. She organized her village and sent them away from the approaching destruction, her family included. She intended to follow but as caught in a skirmish between the Imperial forces and Commonfolk rebels whom they ambushed as they regrouped in the empty village. Junea aided the rebels escape by destroying the only bridge that led out town, and guiding them through the dense wilds of the surrounding region. From then on, Junea worked with the Rebellion in hopes of restoring her lost home.   Junea became renowned for her courage and power and was known among the Commonfolk as the Champion of their cause, defender of freedom. For over a decade Junea led the revolution to many successes, stifling the Imperial path of destruction and gaining influence through unifying the tribes under the Commonfolk banner. By 3240 W.S., the Imperial forces led by Surein Jovenia grew more ruthless. In a swift campaign, rebel cells across the land were rooted out and much of their leadership was destroyed, putting the future of the revolution in Junea's hands. Sensing great defeat looming, Junea formed a fellowship of warriors comprised of the greatest champions from every tribe, which would be the basis for the Conclave of Champions that serve as the legislative branch of the present-day Republic.
