Session 29: A Well-Earned Rest

General Summary

The party, after surviving the ordeal in the Baroness' mansion, recovers inside the Guildhall of the Guild of Adventurers. A weakened William and Nil-enor are restored to their proper age. For their efforts, the party is awarded a small house in the city to call their own.
After spending some time resting, the party spends some well-earned free-time doing some shopping. William Grimhound participates in some speed-dating, and though he doesn't find true love, he does bury the hatchet with Jake Scott. The group meets a gnomish man who creates Mutagens.
When the party returns for a supper, made by Phaeradina, they spend some time sharing some stories:
  • Phaeradina shared of the equestrian warroir from Eldersimebi, who rose from poorness to become a powerful queen, but then died terribly
  • Nil-enor told of Nald, the explorer who mapped the collapsing heights and put in place the aqueduct of Muli
  • Gul'khaan spoke of a Hero of another plane, who stayed the path of a vengeful boy
  • and William recount the tale of Captain John Keats: freer of slaves, breaker of chains, pirate, his own worst enemy, and who's head was ultimately blown off by a hooker
