Session 6: A Quest Complete

Upon their return to Gacade, Sebastian returned the ritual book recovered from Herald's Mountain to his spymaster Dedric. Sebastian reported on the events of the quest and received payment for the procurement in the form of 300 gold coins, 6 platinum coins, 1 superior healing potion, 3 +2 crossbow bolts, and a feather token (swan boat), he would later sell the feather to a dwarf with a braided beard for 2150 gold coins. Sebastian asked if there was any more work to be had, Dedric mentioned that Penelope Drishoowl is still missing, and has been for the past two months, along with a couple of other inconsequential things.   Meanwhile, Aeoldere and Einar did some light barhopping. Starting at the Crabfish Tavern and Inn and later moving to the Diredrink Tavern. Aeoldere ordered a crab. While at the Diredrink they heard that a cabin boy has recently gone missing and that the guard is currently having some disputes with some merchants. Sebastian then went looking for the duo briefly crossing paths with a charlatan selling a cure-all before finding them much later.   The party hung around Gacade for the following week, during which time Einar had a dream of an old bearded, balding druid who told him he could find more druids going by The Children of Rakesh in the Halgus Forest. Giving a vague warning about the druids during the brief conversation. Einar then woke abruptly and shouted FUCK. At some point during the week, Einar rescued a cat named Simba from a tree returning the cat to his owner Praughwin who makes gravestones and moonlights as a party supply salesman. Sebastian overheard a conversation between a guard captain and a merchant deducing that the spat was a result of the guard prepurchasing goods, and the price increasing due to temporary scarcity. Aeoldere purchased 1200 Hazuu pamphlets from a scribe named Bernard, who said that the pamphlets would be done in 2 months' time. Aeoldere later learned from questioning a guard who used to live in Hankala that Penelope Drishoowl's daughter Lucinda would regularly get into trouble.
