Core & Non-core players
Core players
Core players are those that are dedicated to playing every 2-3 weeks (just let me know ahead of time about exceptions), and got in early to the 6 Core-player limit. Core players are distinct in the following way:- Games won't run without at least 4 of them, and they can request to adjust the game schedule
- Core players get goodies such as their own physical loot-box, coinage, and custom power cards (eventually)
- The main story revolves around them, and they have person plot-lines that run alongside the main story.
- Core players can vote on game-changing issues in #straw-polls (discord), and their characters get the final say on where they go
- Core players get first pick of class/race combination
Guest players
Guest players are people who are interested in joining, but can't commit to a game every 2-3 weeks, or didn't get in before the 6 core player limit. Guest players will have to spectate if there are 6 people already playing at a game. Guest players are defined by the following characteristics:- Game schedules do not move for guest players
- Guest players write down their coinage on paper, and keep their powers on flash cards. They take their stuff home.
- They can join the core players' adventure - but the story doesn't revolve around them
- Guest players cannot choose a class that a core player has already chosen
