Character creation expectations
- Give at least a tiny bit of backstory. At minimum - how your character arrived where they are at game session 1
- Your character starts as low-level, so your backstory should have somewhat humble beginnings
- Try to set up your character so that they have a lot of room to evolve and grow as an individual. Your story will turn out better for it
- Have at least 1 flaw. A minor flaw grants you nothing. A major flaw grants you a free feat. See the following for examples:
- Have at least 1 fear, such as a specific creature, water, dark caves, public speaking, etc. Must take 'fearless' feat otherwise
- Have at least 1 goal in life (major and/or minor) - such as finding specific riches, revenge on an enemy, meeting a famous character, claiming a title, etc. Try to tie it into the party - so that working with them will help you get it
- Please avoid making the 'brooding loner' character unless the *plan* is that they stop being a brooding loner
- No evil characters or player-killers. That's for another campaign.
