Espen's Ring
Espen Pirshala isn't one to wear jewelry, with one exception: he can always be seen wearing the silver ring given to him by his husband, Zeheda, to commemorate their years spent together. Espen wears the ring faithfully because it reminds him of fond memories spent with one of his favorite people.
Manufacturing process
Whoever made the ring constructed it simply, but clearly put a great deal of care into its creation. It's sturdy without being overly-bulky and it has never needed significant repairs during the time it's been in Espen's possession.
History
Significance
The ring is the only piece of jewelry Espen wears. He rarely takes it off except when absolutely necessary. It may be beautiful, but his primary reason for wearing it is more for the sake of nostalgia than anything else. Zeheda was Espen's first true love. Their youth is full of memories both look back on with fondness, and time has only drawn them closer together. The ring serves as a physical reminder of the pair's shared experiences and their hope to spend many more years together.

Raw materials & Components
The band seems to be made of silver, since it has a tendency to tarnish (though it never gets the chance anymore because Espen polishes it regularly.) The stone itself appears to be a piece of faceted blue topaz cut in the shape of an oval.
