Iderica

The Southern Arm of the world's main continent.

Geography

Iderica is located at the southern end of the continent, and has the most diverse climate of all the major regions. To the north, a dense tropical forest covers the highlands around the base of Mount Arkatheron, which transitions to more temperate woodlands further south. The region's southernmost extents grow increasingly cooler, ending in a small chain of mountains that are nearly always covered in snow. The great Thrymalion River runs the full length of Iderica, facilitating trade and travel from north to south.
