Attacks

There are three types of attacks a character can do:
  1. Action: Attack
  2. Bonus Action: Attack
  3. Free Action: Paired Attack
Any of the previous types are not restricted to the first target swung at. A character can move and continue their attack chain or make the attack against another correct target within their range.   Action: Attack When a character uses their action to attack with, they apply their strikes to the number of dice they roll to hit and each successful hit will deal their damage to the target. The attack action can be taken multiple times using an action, each applying strikes accordingly.   Bonus Action: Attack When a character uses their action to attack, they can follow up by expending 1 or more bonus actions to deal an additional swings. But to use these attacks at least 1 action must have been used to attack with to start the chain this turn. Roll the dice and confirm a hit, damage is rolled as normal. The difference is, these types of attacks do not apply your strike modifers from Extra Attack/Duelist.   Free Action: Paired Attack These are special case attacks that when any attack is made, an additional attack roll is made based on circumstances. These circumstances include:
  • A Bash attack with the Basher feature
  • An offhand attack with the Extra Attack/Duelist feature
  • Firing an automatic weapon (Which is what the XdX Auto means on the weapon.
