Ateriza

Ateriza, a world where old meets new, all thanks to dragons. Countries and cities that had fostered relationships with dragon communities were vaulted into the New World with dragon tech. Sprawling cities with machines pumping away on steam engines and dragon fuel cells ruled Ateriza not only with their advanced technology but also with their superior trade capabilities. These cities flourish in the heart of Ateriza, a once rich area of land full of Jidovian Trees. But the price of uninhibited growth and selfish behavior has forever ruined the land.   Underneath in the Otherworld - Ascuns - the Blajini live. Ascuns is a reflection of Ateriza, but not in the ways you would expect. Ascuns is deep underground, so far that even with Ateriza's increased mining they wouldn't even get close to Ascuns. Here the sky is a forest of tree roots stretching hundreds of feet. Where mountains sprout above they carve out ravines below and where valleys and canyons slice above they grow below. The Blajini are the primary inhabitants of the Ascuns and have their own dirt and stone cities throughout the world.   While the largest trading cities continue to grow in size and in their greed Ateriza faces a larger problem, the world is changing, not just in the big cities, but everywhere. The weather is getting warmer, the water levels are rising, the air and water are growing polluted. Ateriza is dying.
