The protagonist of the main story.
A child born into the Altelier house of nobles, a house famous for its merchant exploits.
At the age of 6, various circumstances caused him to remember his 'self' as a person who lived on Earth. It would appear that he was a Transmigrator, randomly plucked from one world to another. Far from lamenting that fact, he considers it a blessing in disguise. Originally, he was in his mid-30's. For him to be put back into the body of a 6-year-old child, to "reset the clock," with all of his experience and knowledge intact, he ought to be jumping with joy!
Although he can no longer remember his original name, or precisely where he came from, his otherworldly knowledge as a doctorate student of physics from a top-tier university is more than enough reason to give thanks.
Initially perplexed by the existence of mana, something that defied the very laws of physics that he was so familiar with, he's discovered a new, original, and profound inspiration: to become the greatest user of magic in this world!
At least, that was his goal initially. It would never be that easy after all, would it? Mana is a mysterious thing, and those who have been around it the longest are just as monstrous as the powerful beasts which they defeat. After witnessing the power of just a novice adventurer, how can he hope to be in the top ranks?!
