Primordial

Primordial is the language of Elementals and Tortles. Most speakers of Primordial have claws or claw-like appendages, making them adapt the Draconic script.

Writing System

Draconic script exist out of flowing etched out runes that can easily be made with sharp object, usually claws. The runes appear very similar to the pictographs from the Celestial script, leading many to believe the two langauges are related in some way. But there are a few important difference: For one the Draconic alphabet uses only a few characters to represent certain sounds and which can be can be combines. Another big difference is that most people using the Draconic alphabet see primarily with their eyes and so in modern Draconic there is no attention to the depth and feel of the runes, thou in ancient text this quality can still be found.

Phonology

The Primordial language sound as a cacophony of nature itself, with every core element of the primordial plane present in its sounds.   It is believed that the language itself has been made by the elements themselves when Astrohanasia was still young, a gift to the creatures of the world so they may communicate with each other and live in peace; From the element of Earth it got R's that vibrate as earthquakes. The element of Fire gifted it with the hissing S'es of a doused fire and the clicks of a campfire. Next Air blessed it with the breath of wind and sights as gusts. And finally the element of provided Water the language with the calmness of still water and a deepness to rival the sea itself.

Phonetics

Linguolabial consonant are often forced out with heavy force as if a gust of winds passes from the speakers mouth. Alveolar fricative are held for a long time, similar to how a dying flame gives it last words. Stop consonant are pronounced with a lowering of the voice, making a listnener feel as if the speaker turns into stone himself.
