Veldurov - Sagittarius
Flamefang General Veldurov Stonetusk (a.k.a. Fallen Trunk; Warden of the Verdant Flame)
Veldurov was a towering Loxodon Drakewarden Ranger once revered among the spiritual Loxodon of Coshar for his connection to nature and inner stillness. However, he fell under the insidious influence of the Overseers, becoming the original bearer of the Bow of the Wandering Centaur and warping his gifts into instruments of domination and greed. Using a goblin army and a scrying table hidden deep within a jungle stronghold, Veldurov orchestrated widespread village raids across Astrium, amassing gold and treasure in the name of the Council of Pyre. He was ultimately defeated during the Siege of the goblin stronghold in 830 A.D. by a coordinated strike led by the Archwardens, with the final blow delivered by the divine soul sorcerer, Trinn.
Veldurov’s downfall is a tale whispered in both dread and sorrow. Once a gentle guardian of Coshar’s wisdom, he became a terror who unleashed flame and ruin upon the land in pursuit of golden dominion. Yet even in defeat—felled by Trinn’s firebolt in the siege that turned the tide of Astrium’s resistance—his story remains etched in history. His legacy is a warning: that even those born under celestial guidance may fall if their path veers from humility to hubris. And somewhere, in the vines of the ruined jungle fortress, the echo of his drake’s roar lingers still.
