After Veldurov mysteriously vanished, Igev's lifelong mission became a journey of discovery, tracking his former mentor’s legacy across Astrium. His work with the Archwardens, particularly in the infiltration of Leviathan and the confrontation with the Mizu Clan’s leader—the Tsar of Rime—cemented his reputation as a tactician and seeker of balance. Igev grew up in a rather wealthy family, having grown up around the small forces that protected his family. He preferred making friends with other diplomats that moved around the islands off the mainland, his father had been important in setting up trade deals with the newly inhabited island of Blaezasia with the leader of the Leonin. Igev’s father was thinking that they needed to learn about the other side of diplomacy and conscripted Igev into the forces under the LT. Veldurov. Igev begged Veldurov to take on the subtle roles like spying and recon rather than fighting on the front lines. Igev learned about the world around him, and learned to summon animals to help him gather information. Igev and Veldurov’s unit managed to take out a young dragon, where Veldurov read an ancient text upon the dragon’s horde. Back in Coshar, Veldurov asked for his unit to be transferred to a new unit and left on a secret mission, and never returned. Igev asked his father for a chance to explore the world and gather his own intel about the world and his father let him on the condition he wouldn’t return until finding Veldurov. Using his criminal contacts; Igev was able to find information on a society called the herald of the celestial seal. Upon joining his partner, a hobgoblin, tried to kill him on his first mission claiming that Veldurov wanted no loose ends. Igev unwillingly killed the partner and was assigned to an escort job with a new partner called Callie, to look after a scholar who has amassed some ancient texts
