Grovespeaker - Verdigris Thistlewhistle
Grovespeaker Verdigris Elowyn Thistlewhistle- Fernflicker (a.k.a. Mossmother)
Elder Verdigris Thistlewhistle is the wise, enchantingly eccentric Forest Gnome co-leader of Drakrarroth, sharing rule with First Scion Skrizzik Swiftfang. Where Skrizzik embodies fire and tenacity, Verdigris represents deep roots and adaptability. A druid of ancient repute, Verdigris has long been the guardian of the Whisperwood Sanctum and a respected voice among the Conclave of Scales and Roots. Known for her playful wit and bottomless knowledge of the Savage Grove’s flora, fauna, and ancient magics, Verdigris bridges the mystical and the mundane. While she may seem scatterbrained to outsiders, her mind is a map of forgotten runes and future visions, and her leadership has proven vital in ensuring the Grove thrives without succumbing to its wildness.
She was born Verdigris Elowyn Fernflicker, and became Verdigris Thistlewhistle after marrying Gwillim Thistlewhistle, a fellow druid and illusionist. She retained Fernflicker as a sacred root name in her private rituals.
