The Stone Court

The Stone Court is the oligarchy that has resided in Velisadka for hundreds of years. Since its foundation in 302FE, its leaders were strictly Full-Blooded High Elves. As one of the longest-living races in Astriel, the Court was founded on ruling younger civilizations, as a single generation of the court would be able to watch the repercussions of their actions on their subjects. This was not done out of Elven supremacy, but rather the use of their lives to improve the livelihood of their subjects.
Due to the Stone Court's incredible success with this philosophy and quality of life among its subjects, the Stone Court flourished for hundreds of years, but not once did their reach expand past the mountains
After the Stonerose war, the court's reach expanded immensely. Now the court reaches into the Glacier Mountains, and across the world into Ma'rth. With the aid of its allies, the Stone Court has become the largest and most stable geopolitical force in the world.
Six great houses were formed initially, now eight seats lay at the Court. Houses Kaylik, Rainmour, Ettersil, Shin'carva, Lothlien, Vermil, Dardrim, and Nendikar. Dardrim and Nendikar being welcomed after the Stonerose War.
